The Concrete Flooring Restoration & Polish Process
Repair & Grinding
In this preparatory stage, we will repair any imperfections in the surface by grinding away deep scratches and filling large holes within the concrete. The grinding process will conclude when the degree of exposed aggregate has been achieved.
Honing & Densifying
Once the degree of exposed aggregate has been achieved, the honing processes will remove the remaining superficial scratches to produce a smooth, low sheen floor. A densifying treatment is then applied to the floor and consolidate and strengthen the surface.
Polishing & Sealing
The final process of polishing the surface can produce a mirror-like shine. The rich and varying internal colours of the concrete surface emerge with dazzling results. A sealer is always added to protect the surface and ease future maintenance.
